Mastering Your Tech Career

2pm-4pm in Midtown, Manhattan

Only 7 spots available

 Lead by Rebecca Garcia

Are you applying to jobs everywhere and not hearing back?

Are you tired of feeling like you’re not making progress?

Feeling overwhelmed…

and don’t know where to start

or how to optimize your time and energy

for your job-search?

You’ve already gone to meetups, or a boot camp,

maybe put all that time & energy into a degree,

your existing career and

constantly feel like you’re starting over.

I didn’t want to keep ‘throwing things to the wall’ to ‘see what sticks’.

I needed to pay the bills, get to the next level in my career and I was exhausted.

Fast forward 7 years of working in tech…

I started mentoring women over coffee and began coaching women on
all the things I learned and wish I had known.

I didn’t land at positions like Microsoft and Squarespace by accident, or because I kept applying like crazy…

What if you could fast track all of
the ‘cold’ emails,
and recruiter follow-ups?

Join me in an intimate small group
of 7 like-minded ambitious women

on how to land your dream job.

This is for you if…

  • you want to gain clarity on the next steps of your career

  • you want to feel confident talking about yourself

  • you are tired of schmoozing, panel events and being ghosted

  • are ready to land your dream job in tech

This isn’t for you if…

  • you want to stay (stuck) in your job situation

  • you don’t want to learn how to leverage your existing skills

  • you aren’t ready to start presenting the best version of yourself

Do I have to be technical to attend?
Not at all! We welcome aspiring Product Managers and Designers of all backgrounds and expertise levels.

Do I have to know what I want, because I’m not sure!
That’s ok! That’s what this workshop can help you decide.

I’ve never heard of career coaching, what makes this different?
There are lots of amazing resources to learn to code, to find jobs but what about someone who’s been through it all?

Getting hired in tech, hiring AND teaching tech career development? Yup. That’s me!

Will you be hosting another one of these?
This may be my only workshop of 2018. I’m planning more in 2019, but no set dates yet! Stay in touch ↑

What’s your background, are you a recruiter?
Nope! I’ve been in your shoes and I’ve been on the other side of the table, doing hiring. At Squarespace I was a Developer and later transitioned onto their recruiting team.

From there I managed a full-time technical training program for underemployed and unemployed New Yorkers at Microsoft.

I’ve worked in tech for 7 years, everything from freelance web development, software engineering, to working with designers and doing product management. Read more ↓

What’s your refund policy?

I guarantee if you don’t start hearing back from job applications in 90 days after the workshop (and you’ve done all the homework + are applying weekly!)

I will refund your workshop ticket and give you a complimentary 1:1 coaching session ($137 value).

Sincerest apologies, this venue is not ADA compliant.
